Flags removed, scattered in Mahanoy Twp. cemetery; PSP investigating
NEW BOSTON – State troopers are investigating after someone removed American flags from headstones at a Mahanoy Township cemetery and scattered them about.
This happened some time between Sept. 22 and Sept. 24 at St. Kazimierza Cemetery on Mahanoy City Road.
Troopers said the unknown person removed the flags and scattered them throughout the cemetery and fled the scene.
