Mahanoy Elks hold Earth Day cleanup

VULCAN – Volunteers spent time last week working to clean up part of Mahanoy Township.
The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 mustered a group of volunteers to clean up the Vulcan Hill.
They said the effort, which took place on Earth Day, April 22, was part of PennDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program.
