Two injured in Pattersonville crash

PATTERSONVILLE – Two people were taken to local hospitals after a crash in this Union Township village Wednesday evening.

The crash happened just after 6pm at Ringtown Boulevard and Shenandoah Road in the village.

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL – A crashed Chevrolet pickup truck is hooked to a Stauffer tow truck at the scene of Wednesday’s crash.

Union Township Police at the scene said a Ford Bronco was coming off of Shenandoah Road and collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck heading south on Ringtown Boulevard.

Two people in the Bronco were injured, one of whom had to be rescued from the vehicle by Ringtown and Shenandoah firefighters.

The two occupants were transported to local hospitals by Shenandoah Ambulance and AREA Services EMS.

No injuries were reported in the pickup truck.

The vehicles were towed from the scene by Steve’s Towing, Shenandoah, and A.R. Stauffer Zion Grove.
