Fire damages kitchen in Shamokin
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - Firefighters at the scene of Tuesday's fire in Shamokin.
SHAMOKIN, Northumberland County – Fire damaged a kitchen in this Northumberland County city Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to 40 East Sunbury Street around 4:00pm for a reported fire.
Fire officials at the scene said the fire was contained to the kitchen of that home.
The cause had not been determined as of 5:00pm.
