Tina’s Flower Shop closes after 38 years
SHENANDOAH – A staple of the downtown business district has closed after decades in town.
Tina’s Flower Shop, in the 100 block of South Main Street, was closed Monday, with a dumpster permit in the window and people bringing items out of the store.
Tina Lewandowski announced the closure on the shop’s Facebook page last week.
“I am retiring, I have sold my building and my business,” Lewandowski wrote. “For me this will be the hardest news I will ever break. Over the years I have seen you at your happiness moments, your saddest moments and even the most special moments of your lives by providing you with the design and hard work of my flower shop.”
The shop had been in business for 38 years.
“Thank you for giving me the best years of my life, my daughters life (she loved my shop just as much as I did) and this shops life,” Lewandowski continued.”
