PATTERSONVILLE – A 21-year-old Ringtown woman and a two-year-old child were unharmed after a crash in this Union Township village Tuesday night.

The crash happened around 7:30pm on Jerrys Road, according to Frackville state troopers, when Kelly Pekera, 21, of Ringtown was headed eastbound on the rural road in a 2009 Nissan Rogue.

Pekera reported to troopers she was upset and in an argument with a cousin.

The crash happened as she pulled out of her cousin’s driveway, striking a mailbox and a tree.

The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage, troopers said, and neither her nor a two year old girl in the backseat were injured. Both were properly seatbelted, as well.

No airbags were deployed, and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Stauffer’s Towing.

Assisting state police at the scene were Shenandoah Ambulance, Shenandoah’s Columbia Fire Company, and the Ringtown Valley Fire Company.
