Standoff closes 61 in Fountain Springs
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – A police standoff has Route 61 closed through this section of Butler Township at this hour.
State Police, including their Special Emergency Response Team, are on scene in the area of Fountain Street and Academy Lane.
Details are few at this hour, though a Bearcat armored vehicle is on scene and Route 61 is closed from Malones Road to the village itself.
A detour is in place using Malones Road.
