SHENANDOAH – Fire crews from Shenandoah tackled the first house fire of 2018 in the borough Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:00pm, Shenandoah firefighters were dispatched for a call reporting smoke in a structure, which was quickly upgraded to a working structure fire at 232 East Lloyd Street.

Temperatures hovered just above 10*F as the firefight began, which created slick and icy conditions for crews.
