Police pursuit ends in Lost Creek

LOST CREEK – One is in custody after a police pursuit Sunday afternoon which began in Shenandoah and ended a few miles away in Lost Creek.

According to Shenandoah Police, the pursuit began in the borough, with a red Dodge pickup leading officers on a pursuit through William Penn, before coming to a rest at the entrance to a dirt road in the village of Lost Creek around 7:00pm

Police officers from Shenandoah, West Mahanoy Township, Girardville, Frackville, and Butler Township were at the scene. 

Shenandoah Police said at the scene more information would be made available Monday afternoon.

Steve’s Towing removed the pickup from the dirt road, and police officers cleared the scene.
