One evaluated after west end crash

SHENANDOAH – One person was evaluated after a crash on Shenandoah’s west end Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:30pm at Vine and Coal Streets.

Shenandoah Police at the scene said the driver of an Audi SUV was headed north on Vine Street and went to turn left onto West Coal Street.

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL – A damaged Honda sits at the scene of Friday’s crash.

The driver told police they couldn’t see due to the sun and struck an oncoming Honda.

The Honda was able to be driven from the scene, but the Audi was towed by Steve’s Towing, Shenandoah.

No serious injuries were reported, though one driver was evaluated at the scene by Shenandoah EMS.
