HS SOCCER: Lady Devils fall at home to Jim Thorpe, 6-0

SHENANDOAH – Tuesday evening marked the first ever Lady Devils soccer game at Veterans Memorial Stadium, and the Devils looked to build on their first win the day prior.

They hosted the Olympians of Jim Thorpe, who entered the game 2-5, while the Lady Devils were 1-6.

Just over 7 minutes into the game, Jim Thorpe struck and scored the first goal.

The scoring attack would continue, with the Olympians taking a 3-0 lead into the half.

Jim Thorpe scored three more goals in the second half to take a 6-0 victory.

For the Olympians, Sarah Hartman and Iyana Sockwell and two goals apiece while Maddie Hill and Ella Cook added one each with one apiece. Olivia Rosenberger earned the shutout in goal.

Shenandoah is on the road Thursday at Tri-Valley.
