District champ Spartans recognized with district-wide parade

NORTHERN SCHUYLKILL – ​The North Schuylkill Lady Spartan basketball team took a memorable ride through northern Schuylkill County this evening, as part of a parade recognizing their District XI and Schuylkill League titles.

The parade formed in Frackville, and traveled to Gordon and Ashland before terminating at the North Schuyllkill High School in Fountain Springs.

Flanked by police cars fire apparatus from Frackville, Englewood, Gordon, Girardville, and Ashland, the champions rode in the back of two pickup trucks for the parade.
