Confederate flags swiped from Ringtown porch
RINGTOWN – State Police at Frackville are investigating a theft of two flags in the valley.
Troopers said they were called to a home on West Main Street in Ringtown Monday around 6:30pm for the theft report.
At some point earlier in the day, someone swiped two confederate flags from the porch.
PSP is investigating and anyone with information should call the Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
The Ringtown Valley is one of the only parts of the northern Schuylkill area to be notably settled prior to the Civil War.
