Carbon garage decimated by fire

WEATHERLY, Carbon County – A garage on the line between Weatherly and Packer Township was decimated by fire Friday afternoon.
Firefighters from Carbon, Schuylkill, and Luzerne Counties were called to a home on Brenkman Drive for reports of a garage fire just after 2:00pm.
Arriving crews found a garage fully-involved, threatening a nearby home.
Firefighters from Weatherly, Beaver Meadows, McAdoo, Hazle Township, Penn Forest Township, Freeland, and more responded to the scene and brought the fire under control in about an hour.
The garage was wholly destroyed, however.
