Hazleton Police seek alleged armed robber
HAZLETON – Police in this Luzerne County city are seeking a man they say robbed a gas station last week.
The robbery took place around 5am last Monday, Jan. 12, at a gas station on East Broad Street in Hazleton, city police said.
He brandished a firearm and demanded money, police said. When he was handed cash, he ran west on East Broad Street towards the railroad traps.
He is described as about 6′ to 6’2″ tall, about 170-190 pounds, wearing black shoes, light colored jeans, a black zip-up hoodie, black ski mask, and black and green work gloves.
Residents in the area of East Broad and Poplar with cameras are asked to review their footage to see if they show the suspect.
