Police investigating ATV theft in Luzerne’s Butler Township
DRUMS – Police are investigating the theft of an all-terrain vehicle in the Conyngham Valley.
According to Butler Township (Luzerne County) Police, officers were called around 6am Wednesday morning for the theft report.
A 2018 CFMoto ATV was swiped from a home on Sleepy Hollow Road in the early morning hours, police said.
The victim posted about the theft on social media and, around 9am Thursday morning, someone who saw that post spotted the ATV being driven into the parking lot of Larock Fields on East County Road in Sugarloaf Township.
The suspect abandoned the ATV, ran to a waiting vehicle and fled, police said.
Sugarloaf and Butler Township Police responded and recovered the SUV.
