Valley recognizes Memorial Day with parade

RINGTOWN – The Ringtown Valley commemorated Memorial Day with a parade Monday morning through the borough.

Community and civic organizations and youth sports leagues participated in the parade, which was led by Ringtown and Union Township Police down Main Street from Jeld-Wen to the recreation complex.

A Boy Scout carried the American Flag behind the police escort.

Many of the organizations were on floats pulled by tractors.

The parade also included apparatus from Ringtown Valley Fire and Shenandoah Ambulance.
