State troopers investigating ‘large scale burglary ring’ in east-central PA

FRACKVILLE – State Police at Frackville are investigating a large scale burglary ring said to have occurred throughout east-central Pennsylvania in the past year.

Troopers say the theft ring occurred throughout the past 12 months in Schuylkill, Luzerne, Berks, Lebanon, Carbon, and Columbia Counties.

Troopers recovered a multitude of stolen and suspected stolen items, mostly utility or landscaping items among other things.

Items include tractors, car trailers, utility trailers, power tools, snow blowers, table saws, lawn mowers, weed whackers, pressure washers, lawn vacuums, propane cylinders, fuel cans, chainsaws, tool boxes, and other lawn and garden and garage tools and equipment.

No further information was released as of press time Thursday.
