SHENANDOAH – Borough police released information today on a trio of arrests in the borough within the past few weeks.

6/13/2019 – Drug Possession
Around 5:30pm last Thursday, borough police took a South Bower Street man into custody on a bench warrant, and, in the process, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Borough police officer Adam Sajone took Steven Endick, 36, of the unit block of South Bower, into custody on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a receiving stolen property charge. As Sajone took the man into custody, he found methamphetamine.

Endick was committed to Schuylkill County Prison on the warrant, and additionally faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

6/7/2019 – Harassment
A Turkey Run man is facing harrassment charges after police say he shoved his girlfriend after she threw a rock at his car.

The incident occurred around 6:30pm on Friday, June 7, when officer Travis Bowman was dispatched to a residence in the Shenandoah Family Development in the Turkey Run section of the borough for a domestic disturbance.

Russell Williams, 56, of Turkey Run, had been arguing with his girlfriend. In the process, his girlfriend threw a rock at his car, and he shoved her. 

Williams was cited for harassment.

5/30/2019 – Fugitive from Justice
A West Centre Street woman was taken into custody on Thursday, May 30 on a felony warrant from the St. Petersburg area of Florida.

Police were called for a domestic disturbance between the woman, later identified as Jill Kostowskie, 39, of the 300 block of West Centre Street, around 10:30pm that day. 

During the investigation, responding officers Adam Sajone and William Moyer found that Kostowskie had a felony warrant for Grand Theft from Pinellas County, Florida.

She was then taken into custody on a charge of being a fugitive from justice, and was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Reiley and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $50,000 bail, and now awaits extradition to Florida.
