PSP: Shenandoah man takes off from traffic stop

FRACKVILLE – A Shenandoah man, wanted on several arrest warrants, ran from a traffic stop near the Econo Lodge and is now wanted by State Police.

Christopher Buck, 38, of Shenandoah, was a passenger in a 2009 Pontiac stopped by troopers at Pershing Avenue and Kehler Street in Frackville — a neighborhood behind Dutch Kitchen — and immediately ran when the vehicle stopped.

He ran towards the Econo Lodge, where police lost him. A neighborhood canvass by state and local police did not find him.

Buck has active warrants from the state Board of Probation and Parole, as well as Mahanoy City Police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or State Police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.

The backseat passenger in the vehicle was also arrested.

Emily Lapinsky, 30, of Ashland, provided false identification to authorities, troopers said, and was wanted by the Schuylkill County Adult Probation Office.

She was processed and released to probation officers.
