One transported after late night Gold Star crash
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - The scene of a vehicle accident on the Gold Star Highway north of Frackville late Saturday night.
GILBERTON – One person was taken to a local hospital after a crash on the Gold Star Highway here late Saturday night.
The crash happened just after 11:30pm Saturday as a Ford Expedition was headed north towards Shenandoah from Frackville.
The SUV lost control, crossed the center median, and came to a rest broadside in the northbound driving lane against an embankment.
At least one person was injured and transported from the scene by Frackville Ambulance.
State Police are investigating.
Also responding were firefighters from Gilberton along with Shenandoah EMS and Shenandoah Police.
