SHENANDOAH – The Lady Devils closed out their 2019 regular season campaign on a high note.

Facing the North Schuylkill Spartans at home, the Devils, entering the game at 6-11, are vying for the sixth and final District XI 1A berth. The Spartans, entering the game 5-11, will not make the 2A playoffs field this year, but will play one more game this season.

The match was, for the most part, a dogfight, with the first two games going to Shenandoah Valley with scores of 25-22 each.

North Schuylkill took the third game, though a strong showing in the fourth, downing the Spartans 25-18.

Shenandoah Valley concludes the regular season 7-11, while North Schuylkill, now 5-12, will close out their season on Monday, travelling to Schuylkill Haven.

For the junior varsity game, North Schuylkill swept Shenandoah two games to none.
