East Union Police investigating theft of product, truck, trailer at Humboldt industrial park

HUMBOLDT – Police in East Union Township are investigating the theft of a truck, trailer, and $10,000 worth of product from a plant in the Humboldt Industrial Park Sunday night.

They said the incident happened around 9:45pm at 63 Green Mountain Road, a Packaging Price distribution center.

Officers said a truck and trailer containing Hefty 42-gallon contractor bags were swiped from the property and have since been recovered.

Nearly $10,000 in contractor bags were also loaded into a separate box truck, which has not been located. Police said it was last seen driving north on Route 924 towards Hazleton last night.

Police said the suspects were also at the plant between 3 and 4pm Sunday, as well.
