Search warrant finds $36k in Fentanyl near Brandonville

BRANDONVILLE – A 42-year-old from here is facing felony drug charges after a search warrant this morning in the village.

State Police and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force raided a home at 345 Brandonville Road around 6am.

Inside, they found 300g of fentanyl, worth $36,000 in street value, as well as 35g of cocaine, worth $4,000, and $900 in cash.

Michael Edward Kohlhepp, 42, of Brandonville was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker in Shenandoah and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $100,000 straight cash bail.

Kohlhepp is facing felony possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

He was also taken into custody on three active arrest warrants, two in Schuylkill and one in Luzerne.
