Fire damages Frackville duplex

FRACKVILLE – A duplex on South Broad Mountain Avenue was damaged by fire early Wednesday morning.
Fire broke out at 311 South Broad Mountain Avenue around 1:30am.
Crews from Frackville, Englewood, Altamont, and Mahanoy City were called to the double block home for a reported attic fire.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the attic of the home.
The fire was quickly contained, and Mahanoy City units were released shortly after.
No injuries were reported and crews were clear of the scene by 3:00am.
