PSP: $8k in tools swiped from telecomms tower site in Shen. Heights

SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – State troopers are investigating an incident in which $8,000 in tools were stolen from a telecomms tower site in this West Mahanoy Township village.
State Police at Frackville said that some time between 5:00pm Monday and 7:00am this morning, someone broke into the telecomms tower facility just outside Odd Fellows Cemetery, where work is being done to bring the tower online.
Troopers said the thief cut the lock at the chain link fence, then, once inside the tower site, broke into a trailer.
The person swiped $8,000 work of tools from the trailer, including professional climbing gear, a portable band saw, an industrial mag drill, and a hammer drill.
