Borough woman, child unharmed in Delano Twp. crash
DELANO TWP. – A Shenandoah woman and a child were unharmed when their vehicle left the roadway here Sunday night.
The crash happened around 9:00pm Sunday, according to State Police at Frackville.
Troopers said Paola Ortiz Zapata De Santos, 28, of Shenandoah, was headed south on Grier Avenue when she lost control of her 2012 Jeep Compass.
The vehicle struck an embankment, causing disabling damage.
Ortiz Zapata De Santos and the child passenger were unharmed in the crash, and both were using proper safety equipment.
Ortiz Zapata De Santos will be cited for speeding, troopers said.
