UPDATE: Shenandoah man turns self in following Frackville stabbing

FRACKVILLE – A Shenandoah man turned himself in to Frackville police after a warrant was issued for his arrest after police say he stabbed an Ashland man in downtown Frackville on Monday.
Felix Fermin Bermejo, 25, of 322 West Penn Street, is wanted on charges of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of crime with intent, and harassment.
According to police, Bermejo stabbed Jacob Allen Schopfer, 24, of Ashland, in the area of the Unity Food Mart in downtown Frackville around 12:20pm Monday.
Schopfer was flown via air medical from a landing zone at the Schuylkill Mall to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown, Lehigh County, where he underwent surgery.
