West Mahanoy PD seeking driver involved in hit-and-run
SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – West Mahanoy Township Police are seeking the driver of a silver Dodge pickup truck they say hit a passing car and took off.
Police said it happened between 1:30 and 2pm Thursday as the truck was leaving Shenandoah Heights, turning onto Route 924.
The truck — driven by a man with a crew cut and green hair — struck a passing car on Route 924.
He then fled the scene prior to any information exchange and the arrival of police, fleeing north towards the Tastee Freeze.
