State Police investigating Gold Star Highway wreck

TURKEY RUN – A multi-vehicle crash that closed the Gold Star Highway Sunday is under investigation.
The crash happened around 3pm on the highway at the entrance to the Shenandoah Family Development at Pioneer Road.
State troopers have not released details on the crash or the status of any victims as of Monday night.
A Chevrolet Equinox SUV, a Toyota Tacoma pickup, and a Kawasaki motorcycle were all involved and at least the driver of the motorcycle were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
Firefighters from Shenandoah’s Defender, Polish American, Columbia, and Rescue Hook and Ladder fire companies responded along with Shenandoah Fire Police, State Police, West Mahanoy Township Police, and Shenandoah Ambulance.
