POTTSVILLE – No, we’ve still got a little under two months left until football season, but the score in Saturday’s Little League All-Star bout would indicate otherwise.

Shenandoah travelled to Railway Park in the city to face Pottsville in the District 24 Little League 8-10 semifinals.

The game began a few minutes late because of a passing rain shower.

In the top of the second, Pottsville incinerated that lead, going on a 14-run rally to take a 14-4 advantage.

Our Shenandoah All-Stars weren’t going down without a fight, scoring seven in the bottom of the second to close the gap to within three, with Pottsville leading 14-11.
