SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah’s youth football team has called off their 2020 campaign as of tonight as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Shenandoah Junior Blue Devil Organization, which fields youth teams in the Tri-County Youth Football League, announced Thursday evening “the difficult decision to suspend our 2020 football season.”

“This was not an easy decision for the board to make,” the organization wrote. “As a board, we felt it was our responsibility to protect the health of our cheerleaders and football players.”

“We hope to see our cheerleaders and players in 2021,” they added.
