TAMAQUA – The Blue Raiders of Tamaqua entered Thursday night’s game seeking their first win of the season, but it wasn’t going to come against North Schuylkill.

Though, the first quarter’s defensive battle between the two squads left some doubt.

The Spartans, fresh off a 48-0 showing at Pine Grove, did not get on the board until about a minute remained in the first quarter.
