HS BASEBALL: Devils drop home opener against Minersville, 3-0

SHENANDOAH – The Blue Devils baseball team opened this year’s season the way last year’s ended — hosting Minersville at Marty DeLuca Memorial Field — though they hoped for a different result.
Saturday’s game was postponed from Friday afternoon.
Minersville got off to a swift start, scoring three runs in the first inning.
That was all they needed.
Neither team could muster a run for the remainder of the game, with Minersville taking the 3-0 victory.
