PSP investigating hit-and-run vs. bicycle in Kline
McADOO HEIGHTS – State troopers are investigating a hit and run they say happened yesterday afternoon in this Kline Township village.
According to State Police at Frackville, around 3:15pm a 17-year-old was riding along Cedar Street on a Huffy mountain bike, approaching Grove Street, when a sedan entered the intersection.
The sedan, troopers said, turned from Grove onto Cedar and struck the rear tire of the 17-year-old’s bike, then continued northbound on Cedar, failing to stop and acknowledge the crash.
The 17-year-old was not injured, and provided a description of the vehicle in question, saying it was a four-door tan or silver sedan, possibly a Lincoln.
