MAHANOY CITY – Senator David G. Argall’s office in Mahanoy City will be staffed come Monday, May 18, according to a media release distributed Wednesday.

Argall’s office cites falling rates of COVID-19 infection as the reasoning for restaffing the Mahanoy City office, as well as his office in Pottsville.

The offices will not be open to the public for walk-ins or meetings, but staff will be on hand to answer phone calls and emails related to state government.

The move, the office said, is in accordance with state senate policies regarding reopening offices in red and yellow reopening phases.

Employees will adhere to CDC and Department of Health guidelines, and Argall said the move is to ensure his office is as responsive as possible for constituents.

The Mahanoy City office can be contacted via phone at 570-773-0891 and inquiries can also be sent in online at www.senatorargall.com or email at [email protected].
