Shenandoah’s CEBA to receive $750k in federal funding

SHENANDOAH – The Center for Education, Business, and the Arts in downtown Shenandoah is progressing and will receive $750,000 in federal funding, legislators announced Friday.
Congressman Dan Meuser (R-9) said the funding was included in the FY26 Agricultural Appropriations legislation recently signed into law.
The $750,000 grant awarded to Downtown Shenandoah, Inc. for the CEBA project will expand access to medical care, support workforce development, and provide space for small-business growth and community programming.
It is part of $5 Million in federal funding awarded to Schuylkill County projects, including a fire station in Orwigsburg and a dental school in Tamaqua.
The center is under construction and progressing towards an anticipated early 2026 opening.
