Man follows woman 56 miles to northern Schuylkill, cited for harassment
VULCAN – A Scranton man is facing a harassment charge, accused of following a Scranton woman 56 miles to our area, calling and sending numerous inappropriate text messages to her, ending in a crash.
State Police at Frackville said this happened last Thursday around 9pm.
Troopers responded to a crash on Vulcan Hill Road in Mahanoy Township for a reported crash.
Through investigation, troopers found that Gary Della Monica, 30, of Scranton, had followed a 28-year-old Scranton woman 56 miles and had been calling and texting her, the texts containing inappropriate content.
Della Monica was cited for harassment, troopers said.
