PSP: Vehicle strikes New Ringgold porch, two injured
NEW RINGGOLD – Two people from Hanover Township were taken to a Coaldale hospital after their Toyota struck a porch here.
The crash happened around 9:30am Saturday morning on East Railroad Avenue in New Ringgold.
According to State Police at Frackville, Estervina De La Cruz-Ozuna, 54, of Hanover Township, was driving west on East Railroad Avenue in a 2013 Toyota Rav 4.
She hit snow on the shoulder and lost control of the SUV, leaving the roadway and striking a stone porch at 512 East Railroad Avenue.
She and a passenger, 22-year-old Christian Pimental De La Cruz, were taken to St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale for treatment of minor injuries.
De La Cruz-Ozuna will be cited for the crash, troopers said.
