Borough man cited for shattering woman’s iPhone

HARWOOD – A Shenandoah man was cited for criminal mischief after he shattered a woman’s iPhone 13 early Friday morning.

Anthony Ortiz, 25, of Shenandoah, was cited for criminal mischief in the act.

According to State Police at Hazleton, troopers were called to Harwood Road in Hazle Township for a reported domestic altercation just after midnight Friday.

Troopers said Ortiz smashed an iPhone 13, belonging to a 24-year-old Hazle Township woman and worth $450, on the ground.

Ortiz has not yet entered a plea.
