State Police release photos of accused Sheppton Mini-Mart robber

SHEPPTON – State Police at Frackville have released photos of the alleged robber who made of with $700 from the Sheppton Mini-Mart earlier this week.

Troopers said the robbery happened around 9pm at the shop on Center Street.

The pictured White male suspect, troopers said, entered the store at closing time through the rear entrance.

He brandished a black handgun with a brown handle and ordered the employees to the ground.

The suspect stole $700 in U.S. currency from the cash register, forced the employees into the beer cooler, turned off the store’s interior lights, and exited through the rear exit.

The suspect fled the scene heading north along State Route 924 toward Hazle Township, Luzerne County.

The suspect was described as walking with a limp and was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, gray gloves, and black and white sneakers.
