State Police investigating burglary in Barnesville

BARNESVILLE – The State Police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a home in this Ryan Township village, and a reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Troopers said the burglary was reported on Feb. 10 around 4:00pm on Will Avenue in the village, when the homeowner found that multiple items were missing when she arrived home.

No signs of forced entry were seen, though the home had been ransacked, and personal items were searched throughout.

Troopers said a variety of items were swiped, including various tools, a red and black Toro snowblower, a three-tier crystal lamp, a personalized gold plaque labelled Mahanoy City, a Kubota Leaf Blower, and various sports memorabilia from the 1990’s, including figurines, a Washington Redskins clock, Denver Broncos-themed metal bus, metal model airplane, and Broncos signed jacket.
