KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL – Debris litters a side lot after 13 South Chestnut Street collapsed on April 12, 2024.

It is owned by Santa C. Ramirez Ramirez, according to the Schuylkill County Parcel Locator, and has been abandoned since at least 2012.

Ramirez Ramirez purchased the row home in May of 2021 for $3,000 from Kelvin Luis Mateo Matos, who purchased the home at tax sale months prior, in December 2020, for $2,137.

The parcel locator lists Ramirez Ramirez’s address as being in Weston Place, though, the records for a property they own in Mahanoy City lists a Mahanoy City address.

No injuries were reported in the collapse.
