PRIMROSE – A tractor trailer rollover in this Cass Township village injured one person and closed PA Route 901 for several hours Wednesday while utility crews fixed several downed lines.

The crash happened around 3:00pm on Sunbury Road, Route 901, just north of Old Phoenix Road and the Geisinger LifeFlight 5 base.

Cass Township Police at the scene said the tractor trailer was headed eastbound on 901 towards Minersville when it rolled, striking a utility pole and several signs.

PPL Electric Utilities crews responded to the scene to repair a slew of downed wires in the roadway, which knocked out power for about 553 customers in the Primrose, Forestville, and Phoenix Park areas.
