Pottsville man wanted for threatening Heights woman with a gun

SHENANDOAH HEIGHTS – A Pottsville man is wanted after township police say he broke down his ex’s bedroom door and held a gun to her head.

Adam Siket, 38, of 25 Yorktown Road, is wanted on felony aggravated assault and theft charges for the incident over the weekend.

According to the criminal complaint filed by West Mahanoy Township Police Chief Marvin Livergood, officers were called to a home in the 200 block of Ohio Avenue on Saturday around midnight for a reported domestic.

Officers were told that a suspect, identified only as “Adam,” had told the female victim “You are going to die, bitch.”

When police arrived, they found a large pile of glass on the front stoop and found the female victim, who told police that Siket left, but threw a table through the glass storm door first.

The victim and Siket broke up several weeks prior and she had just returned from vacation, arriving home to find Siket inside. She went upstairs when Siket started yelling and arguing, locking herself in the bedroom.

She told police that Siket broke down the bedroom door, grabbed her by the arm, and twisted, then holding a loaded handgun to her head, telling her she was going to die.

She managed to distract Siket, at which point he dropped the gun. He then stole her other handgun and fled.

Siket is not yet in custody and anyone who knows his whereabouts should call police at 570-462-1991.
