Pickup truck does burnout, loses control, hits front stoop at Sherry Dental
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - A damaged pickup truck is abandoned on Bower Street as a Shenandoah firefighter looks over the damage to the landscaping at Sherry Dental.
SHENANDOAH – A pickup truck left a block-long trail of skid marks leading from Emerick Street to where it all went awry at Bower Street early Sunday morning on the east end.
First responders were called to Sherry Dental at Bower and Centre Streets for the incident just after 3am.
There, a red Ford pickup truck was found damaged and abandoned with two flat right-side tires.
A pair of thick skid marks led from Emerick Street to Bower Street, turning onto Bower before a trail of debris began as the truck ascended the landscaping at the dental office.
The pickup wrecked the railings at the side entrance to the office before coming to a stop.
No driver was found at the scene and State Police are investigating.
