PHOTOS: Trick-or-Treat night in northern Schuylkill

NORTHERN SCHUYLKILL – Tonight marked Halloween and also Trick-or-Treat night in many local communities.

Kids, parents, and families were out in full force in Mahanoy City, Shenandoah, and Shenandoah Heights tonight.

In Shenandoah Heights, the Shenandoah Heights Fire Co. hosted their first annual trunk-or-treat event, which drew several dozen costumed kiddos for treats. Many of the stands were also themed, including one for the NBC sitcom “The Office,” with a child dressed as Dwight Schrute.

Downtown, Shenandoah’s emergency services joined forces to host a trunk-or-treat at the ambulance building.

Dozens came out to that event as well, receiving candy from each organization.
