KULPMONT, Northumberland County – First responders of all kinds were honored and recognized by an annual parade in this borough Saturday afternoon.

Fire apparatus, police vehicles, and ambulances from across Northumberland County, as well as Girardville’s Rangers, made their way through downtown Kulpmont.

Along the way, signs in windows of homes and businesses thanked them for their service.

The parade has been organized for the past few years by the Kulpmont100 organization.

This year’s parade was smaller than in years past, largely as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Last year, high school marching bands, including Shenandoah and Mount Carmel, participated. This year, only the Kulpmont Our Boys Band participated.
