NUREMBERG – The Nuremberg Community Players are proud to announce, “Christmas is Here Again”’ at the Emerson Theater.

Rehearsals are in full swing, new background and set techniques are being planned, and video and special effects are being created.

Under the direction of Todd Statuto and Dave Moses, an award-winning animated film, “Christmas is Here Again”, comes to life on stage.

It’s a family-friendly musical in the vein of Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

This charming, heartfelt show centers on a courageous orphan girl who sets out to save Christmas. When Santa stopped handing out coal at Christmas, the sinister Krad (AJ Miller) steals Santa’s toy bag and crushes the holiday spirit and the world’s children forget about Christmas for good.

An orphan and her friends embark on a polar adventure in the tradition of The Wizard of Oz. Our young heroine and her allies each discover their potential for compassion, loyalty and the importance of never losing hope.

Determined to bring back the holiday, Sophiana (Natalie Moses) goes on a journey to retrieve the sack — joined by Santa’s former head elf, Paul Rocco (Cyrus Shaw Freeman), Dart a magical flying reindeer (Savannah Klingerman),

Buster the fox (Ava Badamo) and Charlee the polar bear (Charles Glickert). Her quest takes her through a fantastic landscape featuring frozen mountain peaks, a cave of jewels and an underground lava flow.
