Aqua encourages customers to apply for help with bills through customer assistance program

SHENANDOAH – Aqua Pennsylvania, the new owners of Shenandoah’s water system, is offering a year-round discount program “designed to make water bills more affordable.”

In addition to discounts on monthly water and wastewater bills, customers who make timely monthly payments will receive a $25 credit toward balances they owed before joining the program, titled the Customer Assistance Program.

“At Aqua, we believe everyone deserves access to clean, safe, reliable water and wastewater services, but we recognize we all need a hand sometimes,” said Essential Utilities Director of Community Assistance Programs Rita Black. “We’re proud to roll out this new customer assistance program to ensure service remains affordable for our customers.”
